Michael Weber, Research Associate/Coordinator
Michael joined the Climate and Energy Program at the Worldwatch Institute as a Research Associate in July 2012. His focus is on low-carbon development strategies, renewable energy policy, and the socio-economic impacts of renewable energy development. Michael’s expertise also includes transatlantic climate and energy relations. Prior to working at Worldwatch, Michael served as an economist at the German Advisory Council on the Environment (SRU) in Berlin, Germany, where he advised the German government on renewable energy and natural resource policy. Michael studied at the Hertie School of Governance and the Georgetown Public Policy Institute and received his Master in Public Policy in 2009. He also received a Master of Arts in Economics and Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
