XXII EEP Regional Forum: Renewable Energy for Productive Uses in Central America

OBJECTIVE: To promote the development of generation and energy efficiency initiatives through the sustainable use of natural resources in Central America. As well to facilitate the exchange of experiences and results obtained, between the framework of renewable energy projects supported by the Energy and Environment Partnership with Central America.

PARTICIPANTS: Officials from the Ministries of Energy and Environment from the Central American System for Integration (SICA) countries, international and regional institutions, NGO’s, academics, journalists, and private sector.

LANGUAGES: Simultaneous translation English – Spanish

Senior Fellow and Worldwatch President Emeritus, Christopher Flavin will be presenting the Institute’s The Way Forward for Renewable Energy in Central America report at the forum.
